Located on the shores of the beautiful Lake Albert which is part of the Murray River's Lower Lakes, Lake Albert Caravan Park offers a picturesque setting with lawn, shade, beautiful views and sunsets.
A pleasant 90 minute (150km) drive south east from Adelaide, or 3 hours from Mount Gambier, the park offers a beautiful bush setting with stunning lake views, sunsets and bird-life. Nature at its best!
The town of Meningie is fully self catered with many eateries, a very well equipped supermarket- Meningie Foodland, a butcher, a large rural hospital and alot of speciality shops. Find out yourself why locals like to keep this town a secret!
Meningie is located only a short 25 minutes drive from Tailem Bend's The Bend Motorsport Park meaning we are an ideal place to stay when looking for motorsport park accommodation.
In the warmer summer months Lake Albert is a buzz with all sorts of watersports such as waterskiing, kayaking, sailing or just some fun just splashing around in the water.
During the cooler winter months we allow our communal fire pits to be used and those lakefront sites with allocated areas (sites 1-11) may bring their own raised fire buckets (no open holes buckets such as braziers) and place them on the alocated paved spot behind the site. (May to November,or when other fire restrictions apply, or as directed by management i.e. when in a no rain season we may stop seperate fires and only allow use of our communal fires).
We are a pet friendly caravan park on our powered and unpowered sites, however pets must be on leash at all times and under owner supervision. All doggy do's MUST be picked up immediately. Sorry no pets allowed in park cabins, except our pet friendly budget Egret cabins (Egret 1 & 2). No dangerous or unruley pets permitted, management reserve the right to refuse if feel they may be a hazard. Those pet owners seen not picking up after their animals will be told to leave without refund.
Children Under 16 not permitted to ride EBikes, E-Scooters, etc at any time. No charging of EV Vehicles within park, there is a charging station in the township.
